I have used pastel sticks numerous times, but have now tried pastel pencils and absolutely love the result! I am so pleasantly surprised with the detail I have been able to capture in the portrait of my son Zakk. Since I posted it up on facebook I have had numerous requests for portraits. You can probably tell from my gallery that I love to experiment with different mediums.. I think I'll stick with this one for a while!
